About Us
How it all Started
In 2003, David Rennison became a residential home builder in Columbia, South Carolina. His passion for building and construction led him to pursue several jobs in the industry before deciding to enter the market with his own construction business. So, after four years, he opened his first building company, Rennison Repairs and Remodeling, in 2007. Over time, he narrowed his building and service options to focus on roofing, windows, siding, and doors. So, in 2015, Rennison Roofing and Exteriors was born.
Over time, David decided to expand his team to better suit the needs of his customers in the Midlands of South Carolina. He hired two qualified roofing specialists, a Quality Control Specialist, and an experienced and highly-trained customer service staff.
This team came together to realize David’s dream of operating a community-oriented construction company that looked out for his friends and neighbors throughout the Columbia, SC and Lexington, SC areas.
In 2017, he expanded further by obtaining his commercial roofing license, allowing him to serve the small businesses that serve as the lifeblood of the South Carolina economy.
The Rennison Roofing team is a proud recipient of the Angie’s List Super Service award for six years running, a trend they hope to carry into this next year and many years to come.
Meet Our Team
David & Annette Rennison
Owner & CEO / Operations Manager & CFO
David didn't just build a roofing company - he built a reputation, and he built it alongside his family. GAF Master Elite Certified, Steep and Flat Roof Certified, and a Window & Door Specialist, he added his Commercial Roofing License in 2017 so Rennison could serve businesses, as well as the families who trust them. On every job, his standard is simple: do it right the first time.
Annette joined the business officially in 2014 and has been the engine behind the operation ever since - managing the books, the day-to-day, and everything in between, so the crew can focus on the work and clients never have to wonder what's happening with their project. Nothing slips through the cracks on her watch.
Together, they've built Rennison Roofing & Exteriors on a simple belief: protecting your home means protecting your family. That's not a tagline - it's personal.
Lloyd & Emily Traver
Project Manager / Office & Field Support
Lloyd has been figuring out how buildings work since most people his age were figuring out everything else. Today, he owns every James Hardie job at Rennison - his expertise is a big part of how the team earned their certification. When clients want a full exterior transformation, including custom windows and doors, Lloyd is who they call.
Emily does it all - and means it. In the office, she backs up Annette and Megan, stepping in wherever she's needed to keep operations running without a hitch. In the field, she's right alongside Lloyd - hauling siding, running quality control, whatever the job calls for.
Together, they don't just work for Rennison - they work with each other, and for every family that lets them through the door. Here to support their family, and yours.
Megan Charland
Administrative Assistant
Megan is the voice clients hear first and the reason the office doesn't miss a beat. She manages the day-to-day, keeps permits moving, and makes sure every member of the team knows exactly what's happening and when. If something needs to get done, Megan's already on it. Outside of work, she's a devoted big sister and fosters rescue dogs - because taking care of others isn't just her job, it's who she is.
Britton Rennison
Project Manager
Britton took the long way home - and brought a broader perspective with him for it. After exploring other industries, he came back to the family business and threw himself in. He manages roof replacements and repairs, vinyl siding, and windows and doors projects, and is currently expanding into James Hardie alongside Lloyd. The volume of work he carries speaks for itself.
Clancey Keniston
Project Manager
Clancey brings over 30 years of home remodeling experience to the team - including time running his own company. He joined Rennison in 2024 and manages window, door, and roof replacement projects with the kind of experience that only comes from decades in the trade. Outside of work, he's a devoted husband and proud owner of Zuzu, who may or may not run the household.

• Starting from Assembly Street right by the State House in downtown Columbia head away from the State House towards Gervais Street
• At the end of Assembly turn left onto Elmwood Avenue and hop on 26 west. Stay on 26 west until exit 103
• At the light turn left onto Harbison Blvd right by the Hampton Inn, at the end of the road turn left onto Broad River Road at the light
• Stay on Broad River until you reach Rennison Roofing on the right, just before Dollar General
Driving Directions from Downtown Lexington, SC
• Starting at the Lexington Courthouse turn right on East Main street heading away from the Courthouse
• Continue on East Main until it turns into August road and then turn right onto the on ramp for 20 west
• Take exit 64B to turn onto 26 west, after staying on 26 west take exit 103 and turn left at the light onto Harbison Blvd right before the Hampton Inn
• Stay on Harbison Blvd until you reach the light, at the light turn left onto Broad River Road
• Rennison roofing will be on your right before the publix shopping center
Driving Directions from Columbia Metropolitan Airport
• Starting from Columbia Metropolitan Airport make your way to Columbia Airport expressway and then turn left at the end of the road at the light onto Airport Blvd before Tradesmen International
• Once on Airport Blvd turn left onto 26 west, stay on 26 west until you reach exit 103
• At the light turn left onto Harbison Blvd before the Hampton Inn and stay on Harbison until you reach the light at the end of the road
• At the light turn left onto Broad River Road.
• Once on Broad River Road you will see Rennison on the right, before the Food Lion shopping center
